The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The audience was convinced that Anacleto Cisco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Juan Perrando was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. 7 minutes had been played when some careless play by NUMBA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Anacleto Cisco was slow to take the kick. During this time Copérnico F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of NUMBA's goalie and right to Anacleto Cisco. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. NUMBA's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Juan Perrando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anacleto Cisco in the 10th minute of the match. Edgardo Urbasa charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edgardo Urbasa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 14th match minute, Copérnico F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgardo Urbasa to maneuver through the defense. Cipriano Luzea kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Juan Perrando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anacleto Cisco in the 21st minute of the match. In the 22nd minute, Amadeo Florin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Copérnico F.C.'s Mauro Napier proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Copérnico F.C. from getting a goal against them. In the 29th minute Amadeo Florin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Perrando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Juan Perrando stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anacleto Cisco's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Rafael Bela recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Leonardo Suero made the kick off in the second half. If Rafael Bela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 56th minute, one of Copérnico F.C.:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Copérnico F.C.. The referee gave NUMBA a penalty, 58 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Cosme Ayala, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Copérnico F.C.'s Mauro Napier. 1-1. 62 minutes into the match, Copérnico F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Leonardo Suero came free, but Mauro Napier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amadeo Florin charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Copérnico F.C.'s Mauro Napier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonardo Suero in the 69th minute of play. 75 minutes into the match, Anacleto Cisco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Juan Perrando. NUMBA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anacleto Cisco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Copérnico F.C.'s Amadeo Florin got his second yellow card of the match in the 79th minute. The referee ordered Amadeo Florin off the ground. If Leonardo Suero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
