When German Gaufred fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Paunero's protests and gave German Gaufred a yellow card for diving instead. German Gaufred kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Paunero's Higinio Osasun got a free kick in the 20th minute. After having played for 21 minutes, Damaso Heli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LTA FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Damaso Heli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. LTA FC's Roberto Oliverio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marciano Fe in the 23rd minute of play. In the 24th minute Marciano Fe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roberto Oliverio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lisandro Rufio to strike the kick off in the second half. Fabio Fagildo came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by LTA FC's Damaso Heli. But to his dismay, Damaso Heli quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Damaso Heli scored 4-0 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fabio Fagildo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Paunero getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Felix Ler hit a great ball. After 75 played minutes Paunero got a freekick which was hit by Felix Ler. Fabio Fagildo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Genaro Iliana in the 87th minute of play. Fabio Fagildo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zeledon Orlanda in the 88th minute of the match. In the 91st minute Lázaro Ayala shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabio Fagildo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of LTA FC booed when Paunero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. German Gaufred didn't get a good kick on the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. LTA FC had played much better football throughout.
