Jonatan Gregory fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teodoro Eladio having to interfere. 11 minutes into the match, Guido Orlo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lorenzo Gentza. ★Independiente Ψ★'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Guido Orlo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. 14 minutes into the match, ★Independiente Ψ★'s goalkeeper Lorenzo Gentza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Santos Rocio. ★Independiente Ψ★'s Lorenzo Gentza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaac Perrando in the 18th minute of play. Lorenzo Gentza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Natalio Indar in the 25th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jonatan Gregory during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to ★Independiente Ψ★ getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Jonatan Gregory hit a great ball. After taking down the ball on ★Independiente Ψ★'s corner Nestor Cordarrel fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Teodoro Eladio quite easily take care of the ball. Lorenzo Gentza stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Isaac Perrando's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nestor Cordarrel in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Teodoro Eladio saved Martin Palermo F.C. from getting behind. After 46 played minutes ★Independiente Ψ★ got a freekick which was hit by Arnoldo Frascuelo. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 52ndth minute of the game Santos Rocio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ★Independiente Ψ★'s Lorenzo Gentza was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 59th minute Guido Orlo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lorenzo Gentza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 70th minute, Natalio Indar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Nestor Cordarrel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Teodoro Eladio was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. Martin Palermo F.C.'s Teodoro Eladio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnoldo Frascuelo in the 73rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guido Orlo in the 75th minute of play forced ★Independiente Ψ★'s goalkeeper Lorenzo Gentza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 77th minute Santos Rocio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lorenzo Gentza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 80th minute, Natalio Indar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Martin Palermo F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. A collision led to Martin Palermo F.C. getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Severino Loco hit a great ball. The supporters of Martin Palermo F.C. booed when ★Independiente Ψ★ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Honorato Taurino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Santos Rocio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to ★Independiente Ψ★ getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Gustavo Caton hit a great ball. Lorenzo Gentza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santos Rocio in the 93rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Martin Palermo F.C.'s Natalio Indar got a free kick in the 95th minute. Martin Palermo F.C. walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
