Gaudencio Benvide's late challenge caught a AZURDUY F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gaudencio Benvide helped the player get up and apologised. In the 8th match minute, Shuspendemo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaudencio Benvide to maneuver through the defense. Ulises Bastian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicasio George, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. In the 11th minute of the match Shuspendemo got a corner. AZURDUY F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Juan Foyth ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Juan Foyth almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but AZURDUY F.C.'s Ulises Bastian did a great save. In the 12th minute, Filomeno Firme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nacho Manuel scored 0-1 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ulises Bastian, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 18 minutes into the match, Shuspendemo's goal looked a bit too open when Artemio Ramone came free, but Haroldo Cresencio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Haroldo Cresencio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Artemio Ramone, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of AZURDUY F.C. booed when Shuspendemo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Foyth didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Artemio Ramone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 23 minutes of play, Shuspendemo's Nacho Manuel made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ulises Bastian was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nacho Manuel scored 0-3 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ulises Bastian, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nacho Manuel in the 31st minute of play forced AZURDUY F.C.'s goalkeeper Ulises Bastian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Nacho Manuel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ulises Bastian was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. 35 minutes in the game, Guido Carrillo dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. In the 39th minute Guido Carrillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulises Bastian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 41 minutes had been played when some careless play by AZURDUY F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Juan Foyth was slow to take the kick. During this time Shuspendemo's players had a chance to rest. After a defensive mix-up in AZURDUY F.C.'s zone, Gaudencio Benvide stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ulises Bastian came out of the goal and Gaudencio Benvide tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Teofilo Etxatxu hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. The AZURDUY F.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Shuspendemo were winning 0-3.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nacho Manuel made a kick off. Ulises Bastian made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nacho Manuel in the 52nd minute. After 53 minutes AZURDUY F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Juan Foyth who took care of the corner kick. In the 57th minute, Roque Remicio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Shuspendemo made a substitution. Eloy Chesus replaced Honorato Quentin. Victoriano Ceandro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Ulises Bastian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gaudencio Benvide got free with Ulises Bastian in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gaudencio Benvide came free with the goalkeeper in the 68th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ulises Bastian could save by the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as Shuspendemo's Nacho Manuel slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ulises Bastian. That made the score 0-4 after 69 minutes of play. Gaudencio Benvide could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Ulises Bastian made a huge save. Gaudencio Benvide showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. 80 minutes into the game, Guido Carrillo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Ulises Bastian was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ulises Bastian was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Nacho Manuel showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-7 in the 83 minute of play. With a little luck, AZURDUY F.C.'s Ulises Bastian got control of the ball when Nacho Manuel tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nacho Manuel in the 93rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ulises Bastian, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ulises Bastian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nacho Manuel, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Gaudencio Benvide managed to get in a good position for a shot. Shuspendemo's supporters rose to their feet, but Gaudencio Benvide was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ulises Bastian breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Shuspendemo's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
