Rolando Machado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gregorio Quin in the 19th minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Damian Eguntsenti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Newpi Academy getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Sixto Richie hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, PauoL & The Queen's Damian Eguntsenti got a free kick in the 24th minute. PauoL & The Queen's Rolando Machado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danilo Godoy in the 29th minute of play. 32 minutes into the game, Newpi Academy's Gregorio Quin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rolando Machado made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sixto Richie in the 35th minute of play forced PauoL & The Queen's goalkeeper Rolando Machado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Newpi Academy's Camilo Berdoi got a free kick in the 36th minute. After 37 played minutes, PauoL & The Queen's Venancio Eate shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Aquilino Nuñez came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in PauoL & The Queen reached it. After 39 played minutes Ivan Hunfredo rounded Newpi Academy's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-2. Rolando Machado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gregorio Quin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dante Crescencio to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Newpi Academy's Gregorio Quin ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Rolando Machado. Rolando Machado yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-3. Sixto Richie came free with the goalkeeper in the 64th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Rolando Machado could save by the left post. In the 66th minute Camilo Berdoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Machado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 68 minutes into the game, Danilo Godoy recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rolando Machado. Danilo Godoy showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-5. Rolando Machado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Danilo Godoy in the 71st minute of the match. Sixto Richie who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 73rdth minute tested the skills of Rolando Machado when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 74 minutes into the game, Elpidio Bernaldo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Newpi Academy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave PauoL & The Queen the free kick. Dante Crescencio kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. After 89 minutes of play, Newpi Academy's Sixto Richie made it 2-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rolando Machado was left in no man's land by his defense there! 96 minutes into the match, PauoL & The Queen's goal looked a bit too open when Gregorio Quin came free, but Rolando Machado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Newpi Academy's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
