Rolando Machado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sergio Sadurni, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. In the 7th minute Godfredo Erramun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Machado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hernan Checa came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by PauoL & The Queen's Ivan Hunfredo. But to his dismay, Ivan Hunfredo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Rolando Machado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victoriano Francesco in the 17th minute of the match. After 20 minutes, Victoriano Francesco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bahía é Carnaval and the PauoL & The Queen players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 21st minute, Victoriano Francesco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rolando Machado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emilio Hug in the 23rd minute. The audience was convinced that Dante Crescencio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hernan Checa was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Sergio Sadurni managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bahía é Carnaval's supporters rose to their feet, but Sergio Sadurni was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rolando Machado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rolando Machado was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Emilio Hug showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 30 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dante Crescencio in the 34th minute of play forced Bahía é Carnaval's goalkeeper Hernan Checa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Bahía é Carnaval's Victoriano Francesco got a free kick in the 36th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Paolo Piearres during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to PauoL & The Queen getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Paolo Piearres hit a great ball. Emilio Hug received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Rolando Machado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Emilio Hug to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Ivan Hunfredo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hernan Checa. Bahía é Carnaval's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ivan Hunfredo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. A collision led to PauoL & The Queen getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Baldomiro Charro hit a great ball. Dante Crescencio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Hernan Checa made a huge save. 74 minutes into the game, Bahía é Carnaval's Emilio Hug nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rolando Machado made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Venancio Eate's late challenge caught a Bahía é Carnaval's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Venancio Eate helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Bahía é Carnaval booed when PauoL & The Queen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Venancio Eate didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rolando Machado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emilio Hug in the 80th minute of play. After 82 played minutes Bahía é Carnaval got a freekick which was hit by Godfredo Erramun. Sergio Sadurni kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Emilio Hug received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Rolando Machado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rolando Machado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Godfredo Erramun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Bahía é Carnaval players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
