Elvio Mancio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gregorio Quin, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Aquilino Nuñez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Armando Abechuco's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. Ruperto Estevez struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Aquilino Nuñez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bora18. 10 minutes into the game, Danilo Godoy recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Elvio Mancio. Danilo Godoy showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After 14 minutes of play, Bora18's Armando Abechuco made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aquilino Nuñez was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Bora18 getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Ruperto Estevez hit a great ball. Bora18's Elvio Mancio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danilo Godoy in the 17th minute of play. 24 minutes into the game, Gregorio Quin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Elvio Mancio. Gregorio Quin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. With a little luck, Bora18's Elvio Mancio got control of the ball when Sixto Richie tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 30th minute Gregorio Quin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elvio Mancio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 32 minutes of play, Bora18's Armando Abechuco made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aquilino Nuñez was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Bora18 booed when Newpi Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andres Pacifico didn't get a good kick on the ball. Elvio Mancio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andres Pacifico in the 40th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Camilo Berdoi in the 43rd minute of play forced Bora18's goalkeeper Elvio Mancio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Newpi Academy's Gregorio Quin slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Elvio Mancio. That made the score 4-2 after 46 minutes of play.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Armando Abechuco made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Agustin Acuña hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Newpi Academy's defense didn't have a chance, in the 53rd minute, when Armando Abechuco scored to the left of an out of position Aquilino Nuñez, making the score, 4-3. Eduardo Gaufred might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aquilino Nuñez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eduardo Gaufred ran back to his position shaking his head. 63 minutes into the match, Gregorio Quin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Elvio Mancio. Bora18's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gregorio Quin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-3. Cristobal Javiero hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Elvio Mancio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sixto Richie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elvio Mancio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sixto Richie went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-3 was the resulting score. Sixto Richie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Elvio Mancio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 83rd minute Gregorio Quin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elvio Mancio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 92 minutes into the match, Camilo Berdoi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Elvio Mancio. Bora18's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Camilo Berdoi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-3. Camilo Berdoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Elvio Mancio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Newpi Academy walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
