Hernan Checa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduardo Gaufred in the 5th minute of play. Hernan Checa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eduardo Gaufred in the 7th minute of the match. After 13 played minutes Bahía é Carnaval got a freekick which was hit by Alejandro Tavio. In the 19th minute Eduardo Gaufred shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hernan Checa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emilio Hug in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elvio Mancio saved Bora18 from getting behind. 23 minutes into the match, Bora18's goalkeeper Elvio Mancio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Diego Markel. Baldomero Iraitz kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Victoriano Francesco kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. In the 31st minute, Antonio Maria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristobal Javiero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Bahía é Carnaval players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Bora18 were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eduardo Gaufred to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Bahía é Carnaval got a freekick which was hit by Erubiel Ramone. Armando Abechuco had several of the Bahía é Carnaval's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 53 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-2 score and a disappointed Hernan Checa as he didn't even see the shot coming. 62 minutes into the game, Emilio Hug cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Elvio Mancio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alejandro Tavio hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Eduardo Gaufred in the 80thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Hernan Checa, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Alejandro Tavio charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alejandro Tavio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Bahía é Carnaval getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Alejandro Tavio hit a great ball. After 83 played minutes Bahía é Carnaval got a freekick which was hit by Erubiel Ramone. In the 84th minute of the match Esteban Ospetsu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hernan Checa showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 94th minute of the match, Eduardo Gaufred got a very nice opportunity to score, but Hernan Checa was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The Bora18 supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Bora18 would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
