The audience thought a goal was coming when Edgardo Godoy got free with Luisito Quinton in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Venancio Raymond kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. In the 20th minute Isaac Poncio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Agustin Cordarin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee gave Potencial Desperdiciado F a penalty, 22 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Romulo Izel, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Pincha FC's Agustin Cordarin. 0-1. Pincha FC's Agustin Cordarin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolas Guter in the 26th minute of play. 26 minutes into the game, Nicolas Guter cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Isaac Poncio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Pincha FC's zone, Isaac Poncio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Agustin Cordarin came out of the goal and Isaac Poncio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nicolas Guter was the one to do the kick off. With his leg Agustin Cordarin managed to avoid a goal in the 52ndth minute, when Potencial Desperdiciado F's Isaac Poncio fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Pincha FC's Edgardo Godoy got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Potencial Desperdiciado F's Gavino Nevada got a free kick in the 57th minute. In the 59th minute of the match Venancio Raymond sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luisito Quinton skillfully saved the ball. Leo Ramos hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. 62 minutes into the match, Virgilio Oinaz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Agustin Cordarin. Pincha FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Virgilio Oinaz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Pincha FC's Agustin Cordarin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Pincha FC from getting a goal against them. Agustin Cordarin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nicolas Guter went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. In the 81st match minute, Pincha FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgardo Godoy to maneuver through the defense. In the 82nd minute Isaac Poncio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Agustin Cordarin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Venancio Raymond kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. When Isaac Poncio came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Potencial Desperdiciado F fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isaac Poncio couldn't finish the play. After 93 played minutes Pincha FC got a freekick which was hit by Venancio Raymond. If Isaac Poncio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
