The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jose Artizar was the one to do the kick off. Rigoberto Olayo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joel Pelagius in the 55th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Pelagius in the 57th minute of play forced Talleres's goalkeeper Rigoberto Olayo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Candido Duardo got his second yellow card in the match during the 57th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Victorio Cordairo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rigoberto Olayo came out and tried to block the shot, but Victorio Cordairo slotted it home off the left post making it 2-6 in the 76th minute. Rigoberto Olayo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jose Artizar in the 84th minute. In the 87th minute, Victorio Cordairo made a precise shot to the right of Rigoberto Olayo. Talleres's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-7. When Basilio Salomone came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Anjullan AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Basilio Salomone couldn't finish the play. Rigoberto Olayo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victorio Cordairo, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. In the 96th minute, Joel Pelagius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rigoberto Olayo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jose Artizar in the 98th minute of the match. When the match was over Anjullan AFC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Talleres throughout the match.
