When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

In the 61st minute Rolando Gorbea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teodoro Ciano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 69th minute, Ernesto Nevada hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rolando Gorbea took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Teodoro Ciano. Teodoro Ciano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Club Atletico Juanita's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
