The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 7th minute, Maurício Bomba left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 12 minutes had been played when some careless play by Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Delmiro Inge was slow to take the kick. During this time C. S. Peron y Belgrano's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Delmiro Inge almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's Alberto Lidon did a great save. A collision led to C. S. Peron y Belgrano getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Aureliano Quirze hit a great ball. After 19 played minutes Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT got a freekick which was hit by Leonel Reynoso. In the 20th minute, C. S. Peron y Belgrano's Fabricio Perez ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Alberto Lidon. Alberto Lidon yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. 25 minutes into the game, Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's Maurício Bomba nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Francisco Gutierrez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Francisco Gutierrez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maurício Bomba, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. 31 minutes into the match, Leonel Reynoso notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of C. S. Peron y Belgrano's Francisco Gutierrez. Francisco Gutierrez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 37 minutes into the match, C. S. Peron y Belgrano's goal looked a bit too open when Maurício Bomba came free, but Francisco Gutierrez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. C. S. Peron y Belgrano's Francisco Gutierrez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonel Reynoso in the 40th minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, Leonel Reynoso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Francisco Gutierrez. C. S. Peron y Belgrano's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leonel Reynoso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4.

Agustin Caton took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alberto Lidon. Alberto Lidon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-4. The supporters of Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT booed when C. S. Peron y Belgrano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Delmiro Inge didn't get a good kick on the ball. Higinio Illart hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. 66 minutes into the match, C. S. Peron y Belgrano's goal looked a bit too open when Hermengildo Pelagius came free, but Francisco Gutierrez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maurício Bomba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Francisco Gutierrez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alberto Lidon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agustin Caton in the 73rd minute of the match. Ignacio Lauaxeta hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. The supporters of Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT booed when C. S. Peron y Belgrano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fermin Beturian didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 79 minutes, Damian Vigil managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's supporters crossed their fingers, but Damian Vigil was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Luciano Ikatz hit a great ball. After 85 played minutes C. S. Peron y Belgrano got a freekick which was hit by Nereo Eneas. In the 86th minute, Damian Vigil sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and C. S. Peron y Belgrano's Francisco Gutierrez didn't even have to move. Hermengildo Pelagius hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Francisco Gutierrez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maurício Bomba in the 93rd minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than C. S. Peron y Belgrano.
