Spectators: 145 (Terracing: 110, Seating: 33, VIP seats: 2) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Barreal FC's Amador Frichoso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Barreal FC from getting a goal against them. La Scaloneta's Sergio Agüero got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Sergio Agüero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Freddy Sarracino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnulfo Txilar in the 13th minute of play. With a little luck, Barreal FC's Amador Frichoso got control of the ball when Sergio Agüero tried to sneak it across the goal line. Amador Frichoso made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Leo Messi sent off a good shot on target. Sergio Agüero's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 20thth minute, Amador Frichoso skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. La Scaloneta's Fabio Omero shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 21st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Amador Frichoso but with some difficulty. Sergio Agüero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Guillermo Iago hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. A nice corner shot did that Adrian Nalo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Amador Frichoso quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When La Scaloneta's Leo Messi in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Barreal FC's goalie prevented a goal. After 41 minutes, Horacio Donio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Barreal FC and the La Scaloneta players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 41st match minute, Barreal FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Horacio Donio to maneuver through the defense. Guillermo Iago could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Amador Frichoso made a huge save. Amador Frichoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leo Messi, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Arnulfo Txilar made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Leo Messi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amador Frichoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Serafino Su kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. After 57 played minutes, La Scaloneta's Sergio Agüero shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Amador Frichoso came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in La Scaloneta reached it. After 60 played minutes La Scaloneta got a freekick which was hit by Paulino Bela. 63 minutes into the match, Guillermo Iago had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Amador Frichoso. Barreal FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Guillermo Iago was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. 68 minutes into the match, Barreal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sergio Agüero came free, but Amador Frichoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, La Scaloneta's Fabio Omero got a free kick in the 72nd minute. 73 minutes into the game, Arnulfo Txilar recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Freddy Sarracino. Arnulfo Txilar showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Leo Messi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amador Frichoso having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leo Messi in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Amador Frichoso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 84th minute Leo Messi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amador Frichoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 87th minute Sergio Agüero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amador Frichoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guillermo Iago in the 89th minute of play forced Barreal FC's goalkeeper Amador Frichoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95th minute, Sergio Agüero ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Amador Frichoso was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Barreal FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
