Spectators: 147 (Terracing: 111, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 2) When Eloy Perutxo came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Barreal FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eloy Perutxo couldn't finish the play. In the 4th match minute, Barreal FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emiliano Martines to maneuver through the defense. In the 5th minute of the match Sergio Agüero sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Amador Frichoso skillfully saved the ball. Guillermo Iago sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Angel Vachon hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. In the 9th minute of the match Sergio Agüero sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Amador Frichoso skillfully saved the ball. Ernesto Frasco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 14 minutes into the match, Barreal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Guillermo Iago came free, but Amador Frichoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 14th minute, Sergio Agüero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cosme Mattin got free with Freddy Sarracino in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the Barreal FC defense, Guillermo Iago kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Amador Frichoso. The Barreal FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Amador Frichoso should have stopped the shot. After 34 played minutes Barreal FC got a freekick which was hit by Ismael Ordono. After a rather tough play, La Scaloneta's Prudencio Polo got a free kick in the 36th minute. Barreal FC's Ladislao Gabino shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 36th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Freddy Sarracino but with some difficulty. Ladislao Gabino's late challenge caught a La Scaloneta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ladislao Gabino helped the player get up and apologised. Ladislao Gabino hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Sergio Agüero kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. In the 42nd minute, Guillermo Iago hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Guillermo Iago stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 50 minutes of play La Scaloneta's Sergio Agüero was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 51st match minute, La Scaloneta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sergio Agüero to maneuver through the defense. Barreal FC's Cosme Mattin got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Freddy Sarracino didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ismael Ordono went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Freddy Sarracino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cosme Mattin in the 65th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Ernesto Frasco managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Scaloneta's supporters rose to their feet, but Ernesto Frasco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amador Frichoso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. La Scaloneta were awarded a corner in the 75th minute after Barreal FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gonzalo Iztal took the corner. Gonzalo Iztal made a great header on La Scaloneta's corner, it was just that Barreal FC's Amador Frichoso managed to reach the ball for a save. 79 minutes into the game, Fabio Omero was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. La Scaloneta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Barreal FC the free kick. The supporters of Barreal FC booed when La Scaloneta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabio Omero didn't get a good kick on the ball. 82 minutes into the match, Cosme Mattin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Freddy Sarracino. La Scaloneta's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cosme Mattin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. In the 91st minute, Ernesto Frasco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 93rd minute, Ernesto Frasco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The La Scaloneta fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. The La Scaloneta players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Barreal FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
