After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Saul Oskarbi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Internet XAire's supporters rose to their feet, but Saul Oskarbi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nereo Nevada breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 8 played minutes Internet XAire got a freekick which was hit by Saul Oskarbi. Despidida AFC were awarded a corner in the 13th minute after Internet XAire's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Candido Kaxen took the corner. The corner led Despidida AFC's Candido Kaxen to fire away a dangerous shot which Luisito Eneko despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Despidida AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Saul Oskarbi came free, but Nereo Nevada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Gaston Gar came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Despidida AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gaston Gar couldn't finish the play. Saul Oskarbi might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nereo Nevada. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Saul Oskarbi ran back to his position shaking his head. Despidida AFC's Nereo Nevada played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saul Oskarbi in the 34th minute of play. After 42 minutes of play, Internet XAire's Saul Oskarbi made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nereo Nevada was left in no man's land by his defense there! The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gaston Gar to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paulino Lobo in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nereo Nevada saved Despidida AFC from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lucas Passerini got free with Nereo Nevada in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Internet XAire had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
