He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in The Masters reached it. Cabezones's Modesto Corderall played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anacleto Sandalio in the 9th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anibal Galoer in the 11th minute of play forced Cabezones's goalkeeper Modesto Corderall to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Modesto Corderall made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anacleto Sandalio in the 12th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Simon Nastasio got free with German Lertxun in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arturo Aballe in the 15th minute of play forced Cabezones's goalkeeper Modesto Corderall to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Evaristo Abastas came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Cabezones fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Evaristo Abastas couldn't finish the play. 28 minutes into the game, Anacleto Sandalio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Modesto Corderall was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Modesto Corderall made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anacleto Sandalio in the 31st minute of play. With a little luck, The Masters's German Lertxun got control of the ball when Simon Nastasio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Modesto Corderall showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arturo Aballe in the 36th minute of the match. In the 38th minute Iker Ongile shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Modesto Corderall saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Leon Francesco kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving German Lertxun. That made the score 1-1 in the 40 minute of play. In the 44th match minute, The Masters was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adan Otoniel to maneuver through the defense. Simon Nastasio hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The supporters of The Masters booed when Cabezones was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teofilo Mendez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Felix Olayo, 54 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Iker Ongile scored 1-2 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Modesto Corderall, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 63rd minute Anibal Galoer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Modesto Corderall saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Iker Ongile got free with Modesto Corderall in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 73 minutes into the game, Simon Nastasio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cabezones's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave The Masters the free kick. Simon Nastasio kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Adan Otoniel took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 75th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Modesto Corderall. Cabezones's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anacleto Sandalio got free with Modesto Corderall in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Anacleto Sandalio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Modesto Corderall made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Felix Olayo managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Masters's supporters rose to their feet, but Felix Olayo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Modesto Corderall breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Modesto Corderall came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by The Masters's Anacleto Sandalio. But to his dismay, Anacleto Sandalio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. In the 91st minute, The Masters's Adan Otoniel ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Modesto Corderall. Modesto Corderall yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-5. German Lertxun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leon Francesco in the 96th minute of the match. The The Masters players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
