In the 6th minute, one of Mapovihesa FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Mapovihesa FC. Genaro Osoro had in the 7thth minute some difficulties stopping Marcial Teofilio's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Severiano Herena came free with the goalkeeper in the 10th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Aquilino Eron could save by the left post. 11 minutes had been played when some careless play by LEBRON's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Marcelino Ubarna was slow to take the kick. During this time Mapovihesa FC's players had a chance to rest. Mapovihesa FC's Marcelino Ubarna was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Aquilino Eron in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Aquilino Eron was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Marcelino Ubarna. LEBRON's Aquilino Eron proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save LEBRON from getting a goal against them. 0-1 became the score in the 19th minute when Marcial Teofilio elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 27 minutes into the match, LEBRON's goalkeeper Aquilino Eron had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marciano Suero. Maximo Urti kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. The supporters of LEBRON booed when Mapovihesa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hilario Olo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, LEBRON's Cirilo Mincho got a free kick in the 31st minute. Marcelino Ubarna struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Aquilino Eron didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mapovihesa FC. In the 38th minute LEBRON were awarded a corner. Evelio Acevedo went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to LEBRON's Cecilio Louis getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. 40 minutes into the match, LEBRON's goalkeeper Aquilino Eron had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Severiano Herena. A collision led to LEBRON getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Cirilo Mincho hit a great ball. Jesus Odilon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aquilino Eron having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Feliciano Federigo during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Feliciano Federigo hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. After 54 played minutes, Mapovihesa FC's Modesto Felipo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Aquilino Eron came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mapovihesa FC reached it. In the 56th minute, Timoteo Geleberto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 57th minute, Evelio Acevedo sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Mapovihesa FC's Genaro Osoro didn't even have to move. The supporters of Mapovihesa FC booed when LEBRON was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Braulio Maties didn't get a good kick on the ball. Genaro Osoro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Feliciano Federigo, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jesus Odilon in the 64th minute of play forced LEBRON's goalkeeper Aquilino Eron to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Genaro Osoro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcial Teofilio in the 66th minute of play. 68 minutes into the game, Severiano Herena cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Aquilino Eron was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 72 played minutes LEBRON got a freekick which was hit by Segundo Egun. Cipriano Poncio hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind LEBRON's goalkeeper Aquilino Eron, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Aquilino Eron took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jesus Odilon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched LEBRON eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
