Filomeno Manni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Birjaio, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. When Carlos Birjaio came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the STARK F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Birjaio couldn't finish the play. Filomeno Manni made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Isidro Cordarin sent off a good shot on target. Baldomiro Inguma's late challenge caught a STARK F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Baldomiro Inguma helped the player get up and apologised. After 18 played minutes Leones FC got a freekick which was hit by Baldomiro Inguma. Carlos Birjaios short, quick shot in the 19thth minute got Filomeno Manni to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 21 minutes into the game, STARK F.C.'s Isidro Cordarin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Filomeno Manni made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Leones FC's Filomeno Manni proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Leones FC from getting a goal against them. Filomeno Manni was out of position in the 34 minute of play, and Gianluigi Buffon capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gianluigi Buffon really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gianluigi Buffon in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Filomeno Manni prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Leones FC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Vladimiro Michael hit a great ball. With a little luck, Leones FC's Filomeno Manni got control of the ball when Modesto Sanchez tried to sneak it across the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pedro Nuno made a kick off. After 51 minutes, Vladimiro Michael mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Leones FC and the STARK F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 51st minute, Vladimiro Michael hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Filomeno Manni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Birjaio, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Leones FC were furious when Santiago Urtsin was red carded, 56 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 55 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Leones FC! STARK F.C. made a substitution. Dalmacio Sal replaced Baldomero Janpier. Pedro Nuno hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, STARK F.C.'s Dalmacio Sal tried to score from far away in the 70th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 72nd minute, Dalmacio Sal made a precise shot to the right of Filomeno Manni. Leones FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. When Cristo Madeo fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Leones FC's protests and gave Cristo Madeo a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Leones FC's Cristo Madeo got a free kick in the 75th minute. Filomeno Manni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anselmo Arias in the 77th minute of play. In the 79th match minute, Leones FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vladimiro Michael to maneuver through the defense. Gianluigi Buffon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gianluigi Buffon in the 82nd minute of play forced Leones FC's goalkeeper Filomeno Manni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Filomeno Manni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gianluigi Buffon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leones FC's Filomeno Manni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeronimo Asur in the 84th minute of play. Filomeno Manni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gianluigi Buffon, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. The throw-in from Jeronimo Asur in the 87th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Leones FC's Cristo Madeo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidro Cordarin in the 88th minute of play forced Leones FC's goalkeeper Filomeno Manni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91st minute Carlos Birjaio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filomeno Manni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 98th minute, Dalmacio Sal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. There was no doubt that STARK F.C. were the better team. STARK F.C.'s players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
