After a rather tough play, AC 1986 Vinalito's Filomeno Steven got a free kick in the 3rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emiliano Faro got free with Lucio Eate in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, AC 1986 Vinalito's Lucio Eate got control of the ball when Alejo Louis tried to sneak it across the goal line. 25 minutes into the game, Leones FC's Alejo Louis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lucio Eate made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 30 minutes into the match, AC 1986 Vinalito's Flavio Magdaleno sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Amador Jakue narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 32nd match minute, Leones FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Israel Mederi to maneuver through the defense. In the 41st minute, Roberto Sazon made a precise shot to the right of Amador Jakue. Leones FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Celedonio Elia made the kick off in the second half. Roberto Sazon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amador Jakue having to interfere. Filomeno Steven hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. In the 59th minute Celedonio Elia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amador Jakue saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Leones FC fans' excitement grew in the 71st match minute when Leones FC's Alejo Louis looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Lucio Eate made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaime Mundo in the 78th minute of play. In the 78th minute, Jaime Mundo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lucio Eate was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. 81 minutes into the match, Leones FC's Emiliano Faro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lucio Eate narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Leones FC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
