The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Robustiano Joachim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Martin Lauaxeta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Federales FC Ψ OFF's Anier Cristos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Federico Omero in the 9th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Federales FC Ψ OFF's Martin Lauaxeta threw himself towards the right post 12 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Bernardino Ruisko, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Federico Omero took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anier Cristos. Anier Cristos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Anier Cristos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Federico Omero in the 18th minute of play. Jeremias Nafarroa's late challenge caught a Errecaborda AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jeremias Nafarroa helped the player get up and apologised. In the 19th minute, Jeremias Nafarroa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Federales FC Ψ OFF getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Bruno Montrelle hit a great ball. Anier Cristos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Federico Omero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th minute, Federico Omero made a precise shot to the right of Anier Cristos. Federales FC Ψ OFF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After the first half Errecaborda AFC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Federico Omero was the one to do the kick off. When Ricardo Dolfo fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Federales FC Ψ OFF's protests and gave Ricardo Dolfo a yellow card for diving instead. Ricardo Dolfo hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Anier Cristos was a little too slow when Federico Omero got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 81st minute. The score was now 0-3. In the 84th minute, Amadeo Chuse got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Errecaborda AFC booed when Federales FC Ψ OFF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardino Ruisko didn't get a good kick on the ball. 96 minutes into the match, Federales FC Ψ OFF's goalkeeper Anier Cristos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isidro Toribio. Errecaborda AFC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
