After a rather tough play, Club Sportivo Quilmes's Emanuel Valente got a free kick in the 7th minute. The supporters of Club Sportivo Italiano booed when Club Sportivo Quilmes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiburcio Basajaun didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emilio Naike took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 9th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Alfredo Enekoitz. Club Sportivo Quilmes's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Tiburcio Basajaun kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Alfredo Enekoitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Octavio Senio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15th minute Octavio Senio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredo Enekoitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Fermin Torres came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Club Sportivo Italiano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fermin Torres couldn't finish the play. After 24 played minutes Club Sportivo Italiano got a freekick which was hit by Sixto Roland. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emilio Naike during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Club Sportivo Italiano fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 24th minute. Penalty! In the 25th minute, Emanuel Valente ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rafael Martino was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After 39 minutes Club Sportivo Italiano's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Emanuel Valente who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Emanuel Valente almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Club Sportivo Italiano's Rafael Martino did a great save. Saverio Silban came free with the goalkeeper in the 42nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Rafael Martino could save by the left post. Rafael Martino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saverio Silban in the 44th minute of play. Fermin Torres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Enekoitz having to interfere.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Saverio Silban in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rafael Martino saved Club Sportivo Italiano from getting behind. Fermin Torres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Alfredo Enekoitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 66th match minute, Club Sportivo Quilmes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliseo Lope to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Club Sportivo Italiano's Fermin Torres got a free kick in the 67th minute. In the 73rdth minute of the game Saverio Silban who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Sportivo Italiano's Rafael Martino was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 73 minutes into the game, Ceferino Blasco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Sportivo Italiano's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Sportivo Quilmes the free kick. Saverio Silban took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rafael Martino. Rafael Martino dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Rafael Martino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saverio Silban, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Rafael Martino stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Saverio Silban's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. Fermin Torres's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 97thth minute, Alfredo Enekoitz skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Club Sportivo Quilmes had won after a very even match.
