With a little luck, Punta Alvear's Ramon Gabino got control of the ball when Evaristo Reynardo tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Vodka Juniors booed when Punta Alvear was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zeledon Fidele didn't get a good kick on the ball. 11 minutes into the match, Punta Alvear's goal looked a bit too open when Angelo Umbruso came free, but Ramon Gabino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bartolo Atarrabi kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. In the 19th minute, Prospero Nataniel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Demario was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leon Gurutz in the 22nd minute of play forced Vodka Juniors's goalkeeper Jonathan Demario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Demario showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ruben Guilabertus, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Ramon Gabino was out of position in the 25 minute of play, and Angelo Umbruso capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Angelo Umbruso really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. A collision led to Vodka Juniors getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Victorio Jaunzuria hit a great ball. In the 31st minute, Zeledon Fidele got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 35 minutes into the game, Ruben Guilabertus cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Jonathan Demario was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Vodka Juniors's Jonathan Demario played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leon Gurutz in the 39th minute of play. If Ruben Guilabertus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Freddy Urbasa in the 43rd minute of play forced Vodka Juniors's goalkeeper Jonathan Demario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th match minute, Vodka Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeronimo Aztore to maneuver through the defense. Leon Gurutz was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 44th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Victorio Jaunzuria's late challenge caught a Punta Alvear's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leon Gurutz got free with Jonathan Demario in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 61 minutes into the match, Vodka Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Freddy Urbasa came free, but Jonathan Demario reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Punta Alvear booed when Vodka Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Atilano Rocio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 67 minutes, Rogelio Lucila mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Punta Alvear and the Vodka Juniors players grew even worse after the yellow card. Marcos Telo charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcos Telo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Vodka Juniors made a substitution. Sixto Dolcet replaced Bartolo Atarrabi. The supporters of Vodka Juniors booed when Punta Alvear was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcos Telo didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Angelo Umbruso fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vodka Juniors's protests and gave Angelo Umbruso a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Vodka Juniors's Victorio Jaunzuria got a free kick in the 88th minute. With a little luck, Vodka Juniors's Jonathan Demario got control of the ball when Leon Gurutz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ruben Guilabertus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Demario having to interfere. Punta Alvear's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
