Fidel Bingen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prospero Nataniel in the 4th minute of play. Nunez Quinteros scored 0-1 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ramon Gabino, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 13th minute, one of Sajones F.C.:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Sajones F.C.. Freddy Urbasa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 18th minute, Teo Min hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 19 minutes into the game, Sajones F.C.'s Clemente Gonzales nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ramon Gabino made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. 23 minutes into the match, Punta Alvear's goal looked a bit too open when Jimeno Salomone came free, but Ramon Gabino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clemente Gonzales in the 25th minute of play forced Punta Alvear's goalkeeper Ramon Gabino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Punta Alvear booed when Sajones F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silverio Piearres didn't get a good kick on the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Carolo Brais notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Punta Alvear's Ramon Gabino. Ramon Gabino was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Freddy Urbasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Clemente Gonzales hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Fidel Bingen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Freddy Urbasa in the 35th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leon Gurutz in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fidel Bingen saved Sajones F.C. from getting behind. Teo Min charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Teo Min the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Teo Min hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. In the 47th minute Jimeno Salomone shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramon Gabino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Sajones F.C. were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Carolo Brais to strike the kick off in the second half. Punta Alvear's Ramon Gabino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Punta Alvear from getting a goal against them. In the 54th minute, Carolo Brais made a precise shot to the right of Ramon Gabino. Punta Alvear's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Nunez Quinteros received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ramon Gabino came out and tried to block the shot, but Nunez Quinteros slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 57th minute. Ramon Gabino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carolo Brais, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. During the 62nd minute of the match Teo Min completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Teo Min a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, Punta Alvear's Teo Min got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Sajones F.C.'s Leonides Ordono was substituted for Nunez Quinteros. In the 73rd minute of the match Angel Ciceron sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ramon Gabino skillfully saved the ball. Fidel Bingen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcos Telo, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Ramon Gabino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carolo Brais in the 80th minute of play. Fidel Bingen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Prospero Nataniel in the 83rd minute of the match. In the 86th minute, Leonides Ordono left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sajones F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. Jimeno Salomone fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramon Gabino having to interfere. Zeledon Fidele hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Ramon Gabino acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 96th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Angel Ciceron. When the match was over Sajones F.C. could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Punta Alvear throughout the match.
