Vodka Juniors's Jonathan Demario proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Vodka Juniors from getting a goal against them. Evaristo Reynardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramon Gabino having to interfere. Freddy Urbasa kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. After 11 minutes, Ruben Guilabertus mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Punta Alvear and the Vodka Juniors players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Punta Alvear's Ruben Guilabertus got a free kick in the 11th minute. Jonathan Demario showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcos Telo in the 15th minute of the match. Jonathan Demario took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Freddy Urbasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 18th minute, Ruben Guilabertus got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 19 minutes into the game, Punta Alvear's Freddy Urbasa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Demario made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After 22 minutes, Freddy Urbasa made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Vodka Juniors's Jonathan Demario tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 25 minutes of play Punta Alvear's Ruben Guilabertus was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zeledon Fidele got free with Jonathan Demario in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 28th match minute, Vodka Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Casimiro Solustiano to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Leon Gurutz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Punta Alvear's supporters rose to their feet, but Leon Gurutz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Demario breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Leon Gurutz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 36th match minute, Vodka Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeronimo Aztore to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leon Gurutz got free with Jonathan Demario in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Prospero Nataniel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Vodka Juniors's Jonathan Demario got control of the ball when Zeledon Fidele tried to sneak it across the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Freddy Urbasa to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, Vodka Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Atilano Rocio to maneuver through the defense. If Freddy Urbasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 60th minute Freddy Urbasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Demario saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Demario showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Prospero Nataniel in the 61st minute of the match. When Freddy Urbasa came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Punta Alvear fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Freddy Urbasa couldn't finish the play. 70 minutes into the match, Freddy Urbasa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Demario. Vodka Juniors's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Freddy Urbasa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. In the 78th minute, Victorio Jaunzuria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 78 played minutes, Punta Alvear's Leon Gurutz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jonathan Demario came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Punta Alvear reached it. Leon Gurutz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Demario having to interfere. Vodka Juniors's Jonathan Demario played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Freddy Urbasa in the 87th minute of play. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Vodka Juniors's goalkeeper Jonathan Demario, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Prospero Nataniel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Demario read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. After some careless play in the Vodka Juniors defense, Prospero Nataniel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Demario. The Vodka Juniors fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Demario should have stopped the shot. When the referee ended the match the Punta Alvear players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
