The supporters of Masked Stars FBJ booed when Pilar FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cirilo Casado didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 7 minutes, Sixto Urre mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Masked Stars FBJ and the Pilar FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 7th minute, Sixto Urre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Masked Stars FBJ's Feliberto Urki got control of the ball when Severino Umbruso tried to sneak it across the goal line. Severino Umbruso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ildefonso Frechoso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Feliberto Urki made a huge save. Romulo Nahia's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 17thth minute, Feliberto Urki skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Feliberto Urki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roque Fertus, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. In the 25th minute, Romulo Nahia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Feliberto Urki was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Romeo Benvide made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norberto Odon in the 27th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roque Fertus in the 29th minute of play forced Masked Stars FBJ's goalkeeper Feliberto Urki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd minute, Narciso Sotero left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Masked Stars FBJ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. In the 37th minute Narciso Sotero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romeo Benvide saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Godfredo Leguizamón fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Masked Stars FBJ's protests and gave Godfredo Leguizamón a yellow card for diving instead. In the 39th minute, Godfredo Leguizamón hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 40th minute, Romulo Nahia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 41st minute, Sixto Urre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Feliberto Urki stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ildefonso Frechoso's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ildefonso Frechoso in the 48th minute of play forced Masked Stars FBJ's goalkeeper Feliberto Urki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

A collision led to Pilar FC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Luciano Millan hit a great ball. In the 55th minute Romulo Nahia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Feliberto Urki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Masked Stars FBJ defense, Severino Umbruso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Feliberto Urki. The Masked Stars FBJ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Feliberto Urki should have stopped the shot. Norberto Odon's late challenge caught a Pilar FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Norberto Odon helped the player get up and apologised. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Severino Umbruso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pilar FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Severino Umbruso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Feliberto Urki breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Romeo Benvide made an important save on a dangerous shot by Norberto Odon in the 71st minute. In the 86th match minute, Masked Stars FBJ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Norberto Odon to maneuver through the defense. In the 87th minute of the match Roque Fertus sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Feliberto Urki skillfully saved the ball. In the 91st minute, Ambrosio Corderall hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Pilar FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Masked Stars FBJ had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
