In the 10th minute, Ciriaco Artizar fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Urbano Martinez was out of position in the 16 minute of play, and Ramiro Ler capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ramiro Ler really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Feliberto Shantala in the 19thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Urbano Martinez, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 20th minute Feliberto Shantala shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Urbano Martinez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Urbano Martinez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guanacos. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Octavio Ignatius during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Feliberto Shantala to make the kick off. Urbano Martinez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Feliberto Shantala, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Urbano Martinez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robustiano Botello in the 61st minute of play. Humberto Romildo charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Urbano Martinez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonas Lehior, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ciriaco Artizar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rosario Central FC's Urbano Martinez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Feliberto Shantala in the 98th minute of play.
