The La Bichineta fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. La Bichineta's Eduardo Jordy proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save La Bichineta from getting a goal against them. Serafino Geofredo scored 1-1 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eduardo Jordy, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. C. A. Potrero's Serafino Geofredo got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Moises Pereyra hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. In the 33rd minute, Serafino Geofredo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eduardo Jordy was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. C. A. Potrero's Javier Steven played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustin Isauro in the 40th minute of play. Javier Steven made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustin Isauro in the 45th minute of play. After a rather tough play, C. A. Potrero's Cesar Gora got a free kick in the 46th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

When Serafino Geofredo fell near the penalty area in the 50th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C. A. Potrero's protests and gave Serafino Geofredo a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of La Bichineta booed when C. A. Potrero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Serafino Geofredo didn't get a good kick on the ball. La Bichineta's Melchor Calvet got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eduardo Jordy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serafino Geofredo in the 58th minute of the match. With a little luck, C. A. Potrero's Javier Steven got control of the ball when Moises Pereyra tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 71st minute, Agustin Isauro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. C. A. Moises Pereyra came free with the goalkeeper in the 83rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Javier Steven could save by the left post. In the 85th minute, Melchor Calvet reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Javier Steven. The goal made the score 2-3. In the 94th minute, Niceto Lehior hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. La Bichineta walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
