An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquin Banegas in the 12th minute of play forced Deportivo el Divague's goalkeeper Teofilo Salbatore to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Deportivo el Divague's Ermegildo Ramirez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pastor Manilan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 22nd minute Ermegildo Ramirez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pastor Manilan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pastor Manilan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ermegildo Ramirez, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Deportivo el Divague's Fernan Lalla got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pastor Manilan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ermegildo Ramirez's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Hipolito Bizi lost his temper 31 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Gaston Sustrai recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fernan Lalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Pastor Manilan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Domingos Gaitano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo el Divague's supporters rose to their feet, but Domingos Gaitano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pastor Manilan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fernan Lalla to make the kick off. Domingos Gaitano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Pastor Manilan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Guqueri F.C.'s zone, Fernan Lalla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pastor Manilan came out of the goal and Fernan Lalla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pastor Manilan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernan Lalla in the 70th minute of play. Danilo Librado kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. After 74 played minutes Guqueri F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Godofredo Sal. Fernan Lalla hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Jacinto Richie got a throw-in 77 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Fernan Lalla. After a rather tough play, Guqueri F.C.'s Joaquin Banegas got a free kick in the 84th minute. After 85 minutes of play Guqueri F.C.'s Saturnino Cilio was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. When Gaston Sustrai came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Deportivo el Divague fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gaston Sustrai couldn't finish the play. Fernan Lalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Pastor Manilan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Eustacio Joachim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pastor Manilan came out of the goal and Fernan Lalla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Despite being the better team, Deportivo el Divague failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
