Sporting Club Victoria's Geronimo Quirze played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Lucero in the 6th minute of play. After 6 played minutes Sporting Club Victoria got a freekick which was hit by Leonides Lazcano. In the 8th minute, Fernando Lucero ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Geronimo Quirze was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. A collision led to El retorno del Pincha getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Adan Blanco hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in El retorno del Pincha's zone, Leopoldo Gartzen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teofilo Tiso came out of the goal and Leopoldo Gartzen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 15 played minutes El retorno del Pincha got a freekick which was hit by Adan Blanco. In the 16th minute, Erasmo Gabino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Lucero in the 20th minute of play forced Sporting Club Victoria's goalkeeper Geronimo Quirze to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Geronimo Quirze made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Lucero in the 21st minute of play. Adan Blanco hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Adan Blanco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Geronimo Quirze made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Pudes in the 28th minute of play. After some careless play in the Sporting Club Victoria defense, Fernando Lucero kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Geronimo Quirze. The Sporting Club Victoria fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Geronimo Quirze should have stopped the shot. Faustino Pancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geronimo Quirze having to interfere. In the 34th minute Valentin Platon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geronimo Quirze saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 36 minutes, Valentin Platon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El retorno del Pincha's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valentin Platon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 43rd minute, Faustino Pancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 46 minutes into the game, Marco Pudes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Geronimo Quirze was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Valentin Platon made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Sporting Club Victoria's Dante Mero got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Valentin Platon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 55th match minute, Sporting Club Victoria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonides Lazcano to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, El retorno del Pincha's Carolo Ramirez got a free kick in the 55th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaac Mantzio in the 57th minute of play forced El retorno del Pincha's goalkeeper Teofilo Tiso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 71st minute of the match, Valentin Platon tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Geronimo Quirze saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Isaac Mantzio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teofilo Tiso having to interfere. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Teofilo Tiso showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 86th minute, Valentin Platon sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Sporting Club Victoria's Geronimo Quirze didn't even have to move. 89 minutes into the match, Fernando Lucero had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Geronimo Quirze. Sporting Club Victoria's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fernando Lucero was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. The supporters of Sporting Club Victoria booed when El retorno del Pincha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alvaro Ezkerra didn't get a good kick on the ball. 94 minutes into the match, El retorno del Pincha's goal looked a bit too open when Leopoldo Gartzen came free, but Teofilo Tiso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Sporting Club Victoria's Geronimo Quirze got control of the ball when Fernando Lucero tried to sneak it across the goal line.
