Saverio Quiroga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgard Uzuri in the 22nd minute of play. 23 minutes had been played when some careless play by RompePiernas FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ermegildo Fero was slow to take the kick. During this time Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's players had a chance to rest. With a little luck, RompePiernas FC's Saverio Quiroga got control of the ball when Ermegildo Fero tried to sneak it across the goal line. Faustino Markel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cuca Trap in the 36th minute of play. In the 38th minute of the match, Esteve Toribio tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Saverio Quiroga saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a defensive mix-up in Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's zone, Higinio Manni stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Faustino Markel came out of the goal and Higinio Manni tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Silvano Artaldo fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick.
