In the 4th minute Ladislao Abella shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnaldo Chayo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnaldo Chayo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silverio Garcia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rosendo Gonsalvo succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 7th playminute. Arnaldo Chayo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cosme Lucian in the 11th minute of play. Rosendo Gonsalvo took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Teobaldo Cheche. Teobaldo Cheche dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Stellenbosch's Teobaldo Cheche proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Stellenbosch from getting a goal against them. After 24 played minutes Terremoto FC got a freekick which was hit by Valentin Bernabel. In the 27th match minute, Terremoto FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valentin Bernabel to maneuver through the defense. 30 minutes in the game, Rosendo Gonsalvo fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Teobaldo Cheche having to interfere. 31 minutes into the match, Stellenbosch's goal looked a bit too open when Severino Sotero came free, but Teobaldo Cheche reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th minute, Terremoto FC's Rosendo Gonsalvo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Teobaldo Cheche. Teobaldo Cheche yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. Severino Sotero had several of the Stellenbosch's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 38 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 5-0 score and a disappointed Teobaldo Cheche as he didn't even see the shot coming. Severino Sotero struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Teobaldo Cheche didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Terremoto FC. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dalmacio Jacindo to make the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Severino Sotero during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 66th minute, Cesar Bartoleme made a precise shot to the right of Teobaldo Cheche. Stellenbosch's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. The supporters of Stellenbosch booed when Terremoto FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teofilo Raitin didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Leonides Gaskon came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Terremoto FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonides Gaskon couldn't finish the play. 74 minutes into the game, Terremoto FC's Severino Sotero nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Teobaldo Cheche made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. Teobaldo Cheche made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severino Sotero in the 76th minute of play. The Terremoto FC fans' excitement grew in the 80th match minute when Terremoto FC's Cesar Bartoleme looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 8-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Arnaldo Chayo made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Ladislao Abella sent off a good shot on target. 84 minutes into the match, Stellenbosch's goal looked a bit too open when Enrique Bento came free, but Teobaldo Cheche reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elias Florinio charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Elias Florinio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Terremoto FC had played much better football throughout.
