Spectators: 155 (Terracing: 117, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Dalmacio Jacindo got the match started through his kick off. Gilberto Domenec scored 1-0 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Teobaldo Cheche, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 11 played minutes Luganeros AFC got a freekick which was hit by Gregorio Benino. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benigno Galoer in the 13th minute of play forced Stellenbosch's goalkeeper Teobaldo Cheche to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 22 minutes, Cosme Lucian managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stellenbosch's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cosme Lucian was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 24th minute Benigno Galoer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teobaldo Cheche saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Flavio Lop hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. 31 minutes into the match, Gilberto Domenec notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Stellenbosch's Teobaldo Cheche. Teobaldo Cheche was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dalmacio Jacindo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alejo Gaspard having to interfere. Benigno Galoer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Teobaldo Cheche made a huge save. Alejo Gaspard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dalmacio Jacindo, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. In the 44th minute, Dalmacio Jacindo made a precise shot to the right of Alejo Gaspard. Luganeros AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gilberto Domenec to make the kick off. When Erubiel Camerino fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Stellenbosch's protests and gave Erubiel Camerino a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Stellenbosch's Erubiel Camerino got a free kick in the 51st minute. Alejo Gaspard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ladislao Abella, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alejo Gaspard showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ladislao Abella in the 67th minute of the match. Alejo Gaspard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Javier Nardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Grant Verga charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Grant Verga the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 74th match minute, Luganeros AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilberto Domenec to maneuver through the defense. Benigno Galoer struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Teobaldo Cheche didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Luganeros AFC. After 80 played minutes Stellenbosch got a freekick which was hit by Roman Gerazan. Marco Turi hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Luganeros AFC's La Colabianchi tried to score from far away in the 87th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Teobaldo Cheche made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Grant Verga in the 91st minute of play. In the 93rd minute, Silverio Garcia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. For all the effort they put into the match, the Stellenbosch players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Luganeros AFC.
