Spectators: 147 (Terracing: 111, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 2) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Alberto Oinatz got the match started through his kick off. Silverio Garcia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paolo Maura having to interfere. Javier Nardo hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Oinatz in the 11th minute of play forced MAN FC's goalkeeper Paolo Maura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12th minute, Dalmacio Jacindo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Paolo Maura. The goal made the score 1-0. Silverio Garcia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 21st minute, Bruno Diegotxe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. MAN FC's Paolo Maura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dalmacio Jacindo in the 23rd minute of play. After 30 played minutes MAN FC got a freekick which was hit by Gilberto Cordera. Teobaldo Cheche took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilberto Cordera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Silverio Garcia got free with Paolo Maura in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 44th minute Alberto Oinatz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paolo Maura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Oinatz in the 47th minute of play forced MAN FC's goalkeeper Paolo Maura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Stellenbosch's Dalmacio Jacindo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Paolo Maura. That made the score 2-0 after 48 minutes of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Norberto Hernando made a kick off. Paolo Maura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Oinatz in the 64th minute of play. In the 68thth minute of the game Alberto Oinatz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MAN FC's Paolo Maura was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 70 minutes into the match, MAN FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dalmacio Jacindo came free, but Paolo Maura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stellenbosch's Teobaldo Cheche played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Norberto Hernando in the 74th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Stellenbosch's zone, Norberto Hernando stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teobaldo Cheche came out of the goal and Norberto Hernando tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Paolo Maura showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silverio Garcia in the 86th minute of the match. In the 93rd minute, Javier Nardo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. MAN FC's Norberto Hernando got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Stellenbosch support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
