Ariel Celipe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Alejo Gaspard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Luganeros AFC's Alejo Gaspard got control of the ball when Rosendo Gonsalvo tried to sneak it across the goal line. 13 minutes into the match, Terremoto FC's Cesar Bartoleme sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alejo Gaspard narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Terremoto FC's goalkeeper Arnaldo Chayo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alejo Gaspard made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cesar Bartoleme in the 22nd minute. Mauro Sendoa kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Rosendo Gonsalvo in the 27thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Alejo Gaspard, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Benigno Galoer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arnaldo Chayo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. After some careless play in the Terremoto FC defense, Benigno Galoer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arnaldo Chayo. The Terremoto FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arnaldo Chayo should have stopped the shot. Alejo Gaspard made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Severino Sotero sent off a good shot on target. After 37th play minutes Rosendo Gonsalvo shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Alejo Gaspard and just under the crossbar into goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Severino Sotero during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Luganeros AFC booed when Terremoto FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severino Sotero didn't get a good kick on the ball.

Alejo Gaspard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rosendo Gonsalvo, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Ariel Celipe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alejo Gaspard having to interfere. After 58 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Luganeros AFC! The referee gave Terremoto FC a penalty, 59 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Cesar Bartoleme, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Luganeros AFC's Alejo Gaspard. 2-1. Rosendo Gonsalvo struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Alejo Gaspard didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Terremoto FC. Terremoto FC's Valentin Bernabel was substituted for Horacio Etxahun. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Enrique Bento in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alejo Gaspard saved Luganeros AFC from getting behind. 70 minutes into the match, Luganeros AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Enrique Bento came free, but Alejo Gaspard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 76th minute, Ariel Sanchez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alejo Gaspard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enrique Bento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Terremoto FC fans' excitement grew in the 87th match minute when Terremoto FC's Enrique Bento looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The audience was convinced that Enrique Bento's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alejo Gaspard was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. Severino Sotero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 95thth minute of the game Enrique Bento who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Luganeros AFC's Alejo Gaspard was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Terremoto FC's Enrique Bento got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Terremoto FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Luganeros AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
