In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind Atletico Calamar Saavedra's goalkeeper Iker Gilen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Teodosio Columbo kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Iker Gilen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Erasmo Hunfredo in the 11th minute. After a rather tough play, Angua FC's Erasmo Hunfredo got a free kick in the 13th minute. If Erasmo Hunfredo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. Despite this Iker Gilen quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Angua FC's Vladimiro Bernaldo was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 35th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. 39 minutes into the match, Atletico Calamar Saavedra's goal looked a bit too open when Vladimiro Bernaldo came free, but Iker Gilen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Angua FC's Generoso Karmel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amador Hechter in the 46th minute of play. After having played for 47 minutes, Erasmo Hunfredo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Angua FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erasmo Hunfredo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vladimiro Bernaldo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Atletico Calamar Saavedra's Amador Hechter got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vladimiro Bernaldo struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Iker Gilen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Angua FC. In a very dangerous position, a player in Atletico Calamar Saavedra fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 64th minute. Penalty! 68 minutes into the game, Erasmo Hunfredo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Angua FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atletico Calamar Saavedra the free kick. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Angua FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Atletico Calamar Saavedra had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
