The supporters of Formentera booed when Angua FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernan Bartoli didn't get a good kick on the ball. 15 minutes into the game, Pastor Oriche recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Venancio Gervaso. Pastor Oriche showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Pastor Oriche hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Christian Jerrald's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 26thth minute, Venancio Gervaso skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Christian Jerrald fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Formentera's protests and gave Christian Jerrald a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Formentera's Christian Jerrald got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Prudencio Otsoko stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Erasmo Hunfredo's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. 44 minutes into the match, Formentera's goal looked a bit too open when Vladimiro Bernaldo came free, but Prudencio Otsoko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pastor Oriche was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute, Christian Jerrald made a precise shot to the right of Venancio Gervaso. Angua FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. After 65 played minutes Angua FC got a freekick which was hit by Erasmo Hunfredo. Venancio Gervaso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Jerrald in the 67th minute of the match. Celestino Chaime charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Celestino Chaime the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Angua FC's Celestino Chaime got a free kick in the 68th minute. After 70 played minutes Angua FC got a freekick which was hit by Erasmo Hunfredo. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pastor Oriche in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Venancio Gervaso saved Angua FC from getting behind. In the 76th match minute, Angua FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mateo Ofelio to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pastor Oriche in the 77th minute of play forced Angua FC's goalkeeper Venancio Gervaso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Prudencio Otsoko was a little too slow when Vladimiro Bernaldo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 81st minute. The score was now 4-2. In the 85th minute, Pastor Oriche left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Formentera fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-2. A collision led to Formentera getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Julio Servando hit a great ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Formentera fans cheered their team off the field, for while Angua FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
