In the 9th match minute, Angua FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciro Dolfos to maneuver through the defense. Angua FC's Venancio Gervaso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cosme Pacorro in the 15th minute of play. In the 18th minute, Altos Gatos FC's Gogo George seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Gogo George the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Altos Gatos FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Gogo George had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 18 minutes into the game, one of Altos Gatos FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 21st minute, the referee gave Angua FC a penalty. Eduardo Blasco looked confident and blasted the ball into goal by the left post, totally unstoppable for Eloy Cordearo. After a rather tough play, Altos Gatos FC's Americo Gamus got a free kick in the 25th minute. 28 minutes into the game, Mateo Ofelio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Angua FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Altos Gatos FC the free kick. After 28 played minutes Angua FC got a freekick which was hit by Mateo Ofelio. Venancio Gervaso came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Altos Gatos FC's Cosme Pacorro. But to his dismay, Cosme Pacorro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cosme Pacorro was the one to do the kick off. If Vladimiro Bernaldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ciro Dolfos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eloy Cordearo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Angua FC. Altos Gatos FC's Eloy Cordearo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernan Bartoli in the 71st minute of play. After some careless play in the Altos Gatos FC defense, Erasmo Hunfredo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eloy Cordearo. The Altos Gatos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eloy Cordearo should have stopped the shot. In the 77th match minute, Altos Gatos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonio Paulin to maneuver through the defense. In the 78th match minute, Angua FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erasmo Hunfredo to maneuver through the defense. When Jose Florinio fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Altos Gatos FC's protests and gave Jose Florinio a yellow card for diving instead. Angua FC's Erasmo Hunfredo got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Altos Gatos FC's Jose Florinio got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Eloy Cordearo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernan Bartoli, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Celestino Chaime during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 89th minute, Celestino Chaime hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erasmo Hunfredo in the 92nd minute of play forced Altos Gatos FC's goalkeeper Eloy Cordearo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ciro Dolfos struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Eloy Cordearo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Angua FC. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Angua FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Altos Gatos FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
