The audience thought a goal was coming when Jonatan Igon got free with Venancio Gervaso in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Through an outstanding action, after 23 minutes, Venancio Gervaso successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Maximo Gabon's late challenge caught a Angua FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Maximo Gabon helped the player get up and apologised. Angua FC's Alberto Camerino was substituted for Eduardo Blasco. The supporters of Angua FC booed when Atletico Calamar Saavedra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximo Gabon didn't get a good kick on the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Angua FC's goalkeeper Venancio Gervaso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Miguel Umbruso. Venancio Gervaso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Blas Quiroga in the 31st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Atletico Calamar Saavedra's Jonatan Igon got a free kick in the 33rd minute. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Vladimiro Bernaldo put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Iker Gilen. In the 44th match minute, Angua FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mateo Ofelio to maneuver through the defense. Miguel Umbruso came free with the goalkeeper in the 48th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Venancio Gervaso could save by the left post.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jonatan Igon made a kick off. Fernan Bartoli charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fernan Bartoli the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Blas Quiroga in the 76th minute of play forced Angua FC's goalkeeper Venancio Gervaso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Venancio Gervaso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Venancio Gervaso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonatan Igon, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Nemesio Firme hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Angua FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
