After having played for 2 minutes, Alonzo Chumo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sportivo Constitución's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alonzo Chumo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 4th match minute, La Herradura FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guillermo Jaunti to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Alonzo Chumo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sportivo Constitución's supporters rose to their feet, but Alonzo Chumo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maximino Polo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Maximino Polo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romeo Telo in the 6th minute of play. After 8 played minutes Sportivo Constitución got a freekick which was hit by Romeo Argoitz. After 11 minutes, Ulises Laurendi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the La Herradura FC and the Sportivo Constitución players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ulises Laurendi hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Baldomiro Unax charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Baldomiro Unax the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Baldomiro Unax kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Romeo Telo scored 0-1 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Maximino Polo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Clemente Erdiano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sportivo Constitución's defense didn't have a chance, in the 24th minute, when Jaime Pes scored to the left of an out of position Haroldo Raymon, making the score, 1-1. 28 minutes had been played when some careless play by La Herradura FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Alonzo Chumo was slow to take the kick. During this time Sportivo Constitución's players had a chance to rest. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulises Laurendi in the 32nd minute of play forced Sportivo Constitución's goalkeeper Haroldo Raymon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Sportivo Constitución booed when La Herradura FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillermo Jaunti didn't get a good kick on the ball. Romeo Telo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Clemente Erdiano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Patricio Raymond sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maximino Polo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eloy Igon in the 45th minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jaime Pes to strike the kick off in the second half. La Herradura FC's Jaime Pes got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 53 minutes into the match, La Herradura FC's Jaime Pes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Haroldo Raymon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When La Herradura FC's Ulises Laurendi in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Gerardo Umea hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Haroldo Raymon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulises Laurendi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The throw-in from Rosendo Napier in the 74th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by La Herradura FC's Gerardo Umea. Haroldo Raymon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clemente Erdiano in the 75th minute of the match. Romeo Telo struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Maximino Polo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sportivo Constitución. In the 84th minute, Anacleto Hever hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Romeo Telo got free with Maximino Polo in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eloy Igon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Maximino Polo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maximino Polo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alonzo Chumo in the 91st minute of play. Sportivo Constitución played a much better game than La Herradura FC and deserved their victory. The La Herradura FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
