Eustacio Rito took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Donato Paublo. Donato Paublo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The supporters of Estudiantes de América booed when Tello AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rosendo Fiz didn't get a good kick on the ball. With 34 minutes on the clock, Isaias Caetano commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 34 minutes into the game, one of Estudiantes de América:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Estudiantes de América:s Rolando Erasto showed great skill when he stopped Romeo Porfiro:s penalty. Donato Paublo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eustacio Rito in the 43rd minute of the match. After 47 played minutes Estudiantes de América got a freekick which was hit by Elias Ospetsu.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ciro Arlo to strike the kick off in the second half. After 56 played minutes Tello AFC got a freekick which was hit by Gualterio Giro. Ciro Arlo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out.
