After 3 minutes, Humberto Jon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Racing Club and the Huckebein players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 12th minute of the match, Enrique Gudesteo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Luisito Luzaide saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The supporters of Racing Club booed when Huckebein was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Delmar Hug didn't get a good kick on the ball. Racing Club's Lino Salvator played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damaso Hechter in the 19th minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Enrique Gudesteo made a precise shot to the right of Luisito Luzaide. Huckebein's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. In the 25th minute, Bruno Otsoko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 26 minutes into the match, Damaso Hechter had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lino Salvator. Racing Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Damaso Hechter was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. The supporters of Racing Club booed when Huckebein was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samuel Gorbea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Delmar Hug kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Luisito Luzaide came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Racing Club's Enrique Gudesteo. But to his dismay, Enrique Gudesteo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Lino Salvator took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samuel Gorbea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-2 at half-time.

The wind increased when Enrique Gudesteo made the kick off in the second half. After 54 played minutes Racing Club got a freekick which was hit by Prospero Urtsin. Victor Azeari charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Victor Azeari the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Racing Club's Victor Azeari got a free kick in the 57th minute. Damaso Hechter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Racing Club getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Prospero Urtsin hit a great ball. Racing Club's Lino Salvator proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Racing Club from getting a goal against them. Lino Salvator made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damaso Hechter in the 73rd minute of play. Luisito Luzaide showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victorio Abascal in the 76th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victorio Abascal in the 81st minute of play forced Huckebein's goalkeeper Luisito Luzaide to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Silvestre Gonza made in the 86th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Damaso Hechter. Lino Salvator took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damaso Hechter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 94th minute Huckebein were awarded a corner. Delmar Hug went to the cornerflag to take it. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
