VIEDMA FC's Ignacio Quirce got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 5 minutes into the match, Hector Argi notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Manchester Quijano's Benedicto Jayvier. Benedicto Jayvier was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Leonel Enol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to VIEDMA FC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Hector Argi hit a great ball. Ignacio Quirce kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Manchester Quijano's Anier Ramone shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 13th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Justo Laffitte but with some difficulty. 14 minutes into the match, Manchester Quijano's goal looked a bit too open when Angel Eusko came free, but Benedicto Jayvier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hector Argi in the 17th minute of play forced Manchester Quijano's goalkeeper Benedicto Jayvier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 18 minutes Manchester Quijano's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ignacio Quirce who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Ignacio Quirce almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Manchester Quijano's Benedicto Jayvier did a great save. After a defensive mix-up in Manchester Quijano's zone, Hector Argi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benedicto Jayvier came out of the goal and Hector Argi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Hector Argi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lucas Distiratsu got free with Justo Laffitte in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 25 minutes into the game, Leonel Enol recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Justo Laffitte. Leonel Enol showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. After 28 minutes, Angel Eusko mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the VIEDMA FC and the Manchester Quijano players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 28 played minutes VIEDMA FC got a freekick which was hit by Angel Eusko. Justo Laffitte was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Lorenzo Caton. Justo Laffitte made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lorenzo Caton in the 30th minute. Justo Laffitte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anselmo Veronica, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Justo Laffitte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anselmo Veronica, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Hector Argi came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the VIEDMA FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hector Argi couldn't finish the play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ignacio Quirce stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Justo Laffitte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonel Enol in the 52nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nereo Turi in the 60th minute of play forced Manchester Quijano's goalkeeper Benedicto Jayvier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Justo Laffitte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anselmo Veronica in the 62nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nereo Turi in the 63rd minute of play forced Manchester Quijano's goalkeeper Benedicto Jayvier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manchester Quijano's Benedicto Jayvier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nereo Turi in the 65th minute of play. Manchester Quijano's defense didn't have a chance, in the 71st minute, when Nereo Turi scored to the left of an out of position Benedicto Jayvier, making the score, 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angel Eusko in the 81st minute of play forced Manchester Quijano's goalkeeper Benedicto Jayvier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manchester Quijano's Benedicto Jayvier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hector Argi in the 84th minute of play. A collision led to Manchester Quijano getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Anselmo Veronica hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonel Enol in the 91st minute of play forced VIEDMA FC's goalkeeper Justo Laffitte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95th match minute, VIEDMA FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hector Argi to maneuver through the defense. VIEDMA FC played a much better game than Manchester Quijano and deserved their victory. The Manchester Quijano players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
