If Wilfredo Salomone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nemesio Dimas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilfredo Salomone, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nemesio Dimas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Astor Bero in the 18th minute of play. ΚΛΚΞRΘS ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ were awarded a corner in the 27th minute after Atlético Montserrat's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Wilfredo Salomone took the corner. In the 29th minute Wilfredo Salomone shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nemesio Dimas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leonides Boniel's late challenge caught a ΚΛΚΞRΘS ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leonides Boniel helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Atlético Montserrat's Leonides Boniel got a free kick in the 31st minute. When Eriberto Gaur fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ΚΛΚΞRΘS ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ's protests and gave Eriberto Gaur a yellow card for diving instead. After 34 played minutes ΚΛΚΞRΘS ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ got a freekick which was hit by Eriberto Gaur. Ildefonso Valente struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Cecilio Mantzio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atlético Montserrat. Fermin Oto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nemesio Dimas having to interfere. Nemesio Dimas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fermin Oto, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Guaberto Eduino hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wilfredo Salomone was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Atlético Montserrat's Everardo Ospetsu got a free kick in the 55th minute. Nemesio Dimas was out of position in the 57 minute of play, and Wilfredo Salomone capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Wilfredo Salomone really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. In the 65th match minute, Atlético Montserrat was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cornelio Domingues to maneuver through the defense. Leonel Shantala kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. 69 minutes into the match, Atlético Montserrat's Anselmo Emenon broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Wilfredo Salomone might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nemesio Dimas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wilfredo Salomone ran back to his position shaking his head. Astor Bero struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Nemesio Dimas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ΚΛΚΞRΘS ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ. Anselmo Emenon was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 87th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. When Fermin Oto came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the ΚΛΚΞRΘS ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fermin Oto couldn't finish the play. After having played for 96 minutes, Fermin Oto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ΚΛΚΞRΘS ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fermin Oto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Atlético Montserrat fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. ΚΛΚΞRΘS ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
