Spectators: 189 (Terracing: 143, Seating: 43, VIP seats: 3) Pendex's Igor Esdras started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 2 minutes into the match, Melchor Montes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Florentino Haimar. Pendex's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Melchor Montes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Isidro Lidon struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Florentino Haimar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Unidad de Matanza. In the 9th minute, Igor Esdras ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Octavio Raymond was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leonel Ramos during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 15th minute Igor Esdras shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Octavio Raymond saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristian Gauargi kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. When Unidad de Matanza's Melchor Montes in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Benedicto Lucado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Unidad de Matanza's supporters rose to their feet, but Benedicto Lucado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Florentino Haimar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Pendex's Florentino Haimar got control of the ball when Benedicto Lucado tried to sneak it across the goal line. 45 minutes into the game, Unidad de Matanza's Melchor Montes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Florentino Haimar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. After 47 played minutes Unidad de Matanza got a freekick which was hit by Melchor Montes.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Melchor Montes to make the kick off. When Hugo Afonso fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Unidad de Matanza's protests and gave Hugo Afonso a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Pendex booed when Unidad de Matanza was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Afonso didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Unidad de Matanza's zone, Igor Esdras stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Octavio Raymond came out of the goal and Igor Esdras tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Octavio Raymond was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Teofilo Constancio showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 60 minute of play. Orlando Quin kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Ricardo Maria hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Teofilo Constancio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octavio Raymond having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Unidad de Matanza's Eustaquio Dunixi got a free kick in the 79th minute. 81 minutes into the game, Pendex's Teofilo Constancio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Octavio Raymond made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. Unidad de Matanza's Octavio Raymond played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teofilo Constancio in the 85th minute of play. In the 87th minute of the match Pendex got a corner. Unidad de Matanza's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Godofredo Nayely ran over to the corner to take the kick. After a rather tough play, Unidad de Matanza's Isidro Lidon got a free kick in the 87th minute. In the 88th minute, Godofredo Nayely got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pendex's Florentino Haimar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benedicto Lucado in the 92nd minute of play. Florentino Haimar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benedicto Lucado, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. When Godofredo Nayely fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pendex's protests and gave Godofredo Nayely a yellow card for diving instead.
