Rene Tadzio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Ceferino Raymond made a huge save. Feliciano Arnalt lost his temper 7 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Urbano Malvin's late challenge caught a Los Espinillos FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Urbano Malvin helped the player get up and apologised. In the 10th minute, Urbano Malvin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Los Espinillos FC's zone, Arturo Gabirel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Astor Barbosa came out of the goal and Arturo Gabirel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Pascual Cresenciano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arturo Gabirel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Astor Barbosa having to interfere. Arturo Gabirel might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Astor Barbosa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arturo Gabirel ran back to his position shaking his head. Volvimos mejores's Arturo Gabirel got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Segundo Fero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After recieving a nice pass, Volvimos mejores's Arturo Gabirel tried to score from far away in the 25th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rene Tadzio got free with Ceferino Raymond in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Volvimos mejores's Urbano Malvin got a free kick in the 31st minute. Astor Barbosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arturo Gabirel, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tobias Jacindo was the one to do the kick off. When Arturo Gabirel came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Volvimos mejores fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arturo Gabirel couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arturo Gabirel in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Astor Barbosa saved Los Espinillos FC from getting behind. In the 60th match minute, Volvimos mejores was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pascual Cresenciano to maneuver through the defense. Florentino Clementi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Segundo Fero during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Segundo Fero hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. In the 68th minute of the match Marco Fernandes sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ceferino Raymond skillfully saved the ball. Arturo Gabirel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Astor Barbosa made a huge save. Volvimos mejores's Ceferino Raymond played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florentino Clementi in the 70th minute of play. Ildefonso Tolino hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Rene Tadzio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ceferino Raymond having to interfere. In the 81st minute, Nemesio Inocente hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 87th minute Rene Tadzio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ceferino Raymond saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Volvimos mejores's Ceferino Raymond played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rene Tadzio in the 95th minute of play. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Los Espinillos FC were victorious despite being under pressure from Volvimos mejores for much of the match.
