In the 42nd minute, Arturo Gabirel reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Emilio Galindo. The goal made the score 2-2. Emilio Galindo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Feliciano Arnalt in the 47th minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cleto Peru was the one to do the kick off. In the 96th minute, Sergio Arce hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match.
