Elvio Gonsalve recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 13 minutes, Sergio Arce managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La France FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sergio Arce was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 15 minutes into the game, La France FC's Cleto Peru nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Robustiano Jobo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 22nd minute, Santiago Theobald hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Silver Play 2's Raimundo Ubarna got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Silver Play 2's Robustiano Jobo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cleto Peru in the 29th minute of play. Raimundo Ubarna hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Robustiano Jobo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elvio Gonsalve in the 53rd minute of play. With a little luck, Silver Play 2's Robustiano Jobo got control of the ball when Jose Ponc tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sergio Arce could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Robustiano Jobo made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cleto Peru in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Robustiano Jobo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sergio Arce could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Robustiano Jobo made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elvio Gonsalve in the 67th minute of play forced Silver Play 2's goalkeeper Robustiano Jobo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Raimundo Ubarna fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Silver Play 2's protests and gave Raimundo Ubarna a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Silver Play 2 getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Raimundo Ubarna hit a great ball. Silver Play 2's Robustiano Jobo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elvio Gonsalve in the 69th minute of play. Moises Maria charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Robustiano Jobo was a little too slow when Elvio Gonsalve got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 86th minute. The score was now 0-4. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. La France FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
