Patagonicos FC's Loco Gatti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvio Fonda in the 9th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Atlético Zelaya's Alonzo Peruanton got a free kick in the 10th minute. Patagonicos FC's Anastasio Gaitano shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 11th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Clemente Cordaryal but with some difficulty. The supporters of Patagonicos FC booed when Atlético Zelaya was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Chico didn't get a good kick on the ball. Loco Gatti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeronimo Herena in the 15th minute of play. If Silvio Fonda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 21 minutes, Anastasio Gaitano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Patagonicos FC and the Atlético Zelaya players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Patagonicos FC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Anastasio Gaitano hit a great ball. In the 34th minute, Javier Lordi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 42 minutes into the game, Daniel Rafel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Patagonicos FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atlético Zelaya the free kick. After a rather tough play, Patagonicos FC's Daniel Rafel got a free kick in the 42nd minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Atlético Zelaya's Benicio Ubelteso was substituted for Gustavo Bingen. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Severino Flores stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Pastor Abechuco kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Chico in the 74th minute of play forced Patagonicos FC's goalkeeper Loco Gatti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a left leg Clemente Cordaryal saved Atlético Zelaya from getting behind. 85 minutes into the match, Patagonicos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jeronimo Herena came free, but Loco Gatti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 86th minute of the game. One of Atlético Zelaya:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Patagonicos FC:s goal. In the 88th minute there was a penalty for Patagonicos FC. Anastasio Gaitano stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Clemente Cordaryal. 1-0. In the 97th minute, Dionisio Naike hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Javier Lordi didn't quite understand what happened when in the 100 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Patagonicos FC were victorious despite being under pressure from Atlético Zelaya for much of the match.
