Ubaldo Jago didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Claudio Quentin went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Ubaldo Jago took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sergio Lekubegi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sergio Lekubegi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Encarale a la gordita's Claudio Quentin got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Encarale a la gordita's Blas Erasto got a free kick in the 59th minute. In the 65th minute of the match Angelo Telmo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ubaldo Jago showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Aldo Shantala managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arroyito FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Aldo Shantala was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfonso Igon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Through an outstanding action, after 70 minutes, Alfonso Igon successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Arroyito FC may have spent more time on the ball, but Encarale a la gordita were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
