The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ubaldo Jago showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ubaldo Jago showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diego Lia, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Domingos Leguizamón had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mauro Eliu. Riesgo Cero's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Domingos Leguizamón was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After a rather tough play, Riesgo Cero's Eliseo Teyo got a free kick in the 17th minute. In the 26th minute, Romulo Chan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ubaldo Jago was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 30th minute, Diego Lia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ubaldo Jago was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Diego Lia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ubaldo Jago showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Conrado Lauro, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. After 38 minutes of play, Riesgo Cero's Diego Lia made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ubaldo Jago was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Clodoveo Pacho in the 47th minute of play forced Arroyito FC's goalkeeper Ubaldo Jago to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Diego Lia charged in rather forcefully in the 48th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Diego Lia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aldo Shantala stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute Clodoveo Pacho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ubaldo Jago saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 58 minutes into the match, Clodoveo Pacho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ubaldo Jago. In the 63rd minute, Conrado Lauro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ubaldo Jago was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. Diego Lia in the 69thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ubaldo Jago, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 70 minutes into the match, Arroyito FC's goalkeeper Ubaldo Jago had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Diego Lia. A collision led to Arroyito FC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Adolfo Kauldi hit a great ball. After having played for 72 minutes, Alejo Benitez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Riesgo Cero's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alejo Benitez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 74th minute, Riesgo Cero's Clodoveo Pacho dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-6. 82 minutes into the match, Arroyito FC's goal looked a bit too open when Clodoveo Pacho came free, but Ubaldo Jago reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 87th minute, Diego Lia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Riesgo Cero fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-7. Diego Lia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Ubaldo Jago made a huge save. Clodoveo Pacho scored 1-8 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ubaldo Jago, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Riesgo Cero players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
